We are excited to share this great video Brett Hoffman aka @bhoff_films created of Kinetik Climbing Athlete Sam Rothstein. In it Sam finds and establishes a new area in Poudre Canyon. Poudre Canyon bouldering offers some of the best climbing Colorado has to offer. Many classic lines and areas already live in this canyon. It has been the site of quite a bit of exploring and development already. So, It’s great to see new boulders still hiding out there.
Appropriately, Sam dubbed the new zone The Hideaway. Because according to Sam, it lies only a few minutes from the extremely popular 420 boulders. Sam is amazed it had never been discovered. A large stand of trees previously protected The new area from discovery despite being right off the road. A short hike led Sam to find boulders in the forest, just waiting to be climbed. It’s these moments that every boulderer who searches for new rock live for.
Sam establishes new boulders on an almost weekly basis it seems. He is on a whole different level as a developer by adding a whole new area to poudre canyon. It makes us proud to have Sam out there using KinetiK gear to help him, as he show us all what can be hidding out there if you just look.
