Description
The KiloNewton 3.5 Alpine Edition large backcountry bouldering pad is built to be the best solution to all your long approach bouldering needs. It is the larger sibling to our award winning standard sized Newton Pad. This large sized bouldering pad employs the same Omni-flap system as the Newton, which means you can attach a second pad of similar size or smaller, and still attach any of our accessory pads as well. Additionally, the Omni-flap system allows you to cover the pack system of your KiloNewton with a snag free barrier to keep the elements at bay while climbing. It makes for a much more pleasant hike out.
For a whole new level of comfort on those long approaches, we built the ultimate setup by adding our Alpine Shoulder Straps and Waistbelt to the KiloNewton. The Alpine system creates better load transfer from the pad to your hips, while increasing mobility and airflow for your back. That means you wont feel the miles you walked in, just the joy of the send on the walk out. Add our Moment Pocket to the system so you can carry your phone, and let everyone know about the send even before you reach the car. It’s also great for keeping snacks.
We construct the KiloNewton 3.5 with the best materials, and make it in our Boulder, Colorado workshop. Rest easy knowing every item is hand inspected with rigorous detail.
